Name: Abby,    Age: 23,   Occupation: Financial Analyst "Ride Amigos is awesome. Before I found my amigo I either woke up at an exceedingly unreasonable hour so that I could walk to the subway or rode in a cab alone. Once I found ride amigos, I was connected me with someone who lives on my block, works in my building, and now we ride to work together. It makes the dowtown to midtown commute nearly non-existent. It takes about 8 minutes as opposed to an hour!" Name: Jeff,    Age: 25,   Occupation: Cash Portfolio Manager"Within 24 hours of my posting, someone contacted me to share a daily ride. Turns out, not only did she live on my block, but she worked on the same floor as me at work! Now, we meet at 7:15 AM outside the corner deli and share a cab to work everyday (and sometimes home). My commute went from being $12 to $6, and there is still room for two more Amigos! I hope that everyone can find an Amigo like mine!" Name: Ian,    Age: 29,   Occupation: Film Production"Last week I got matched up with a co-worker. I had always wanted to talk to her but never had a good reason to approach her. This was perfect. Now we split cabs three times a week and this weekend we're going out on our first date!" Name: Lauren,    Age: 29,   Occupation: Doctor"My name is Lauren and my normal commute took 55 minutes in the subway! After finding an Amigo online, my commute now takes only 12 minutes. No joke, I am totally less stressed and I even walk slower, for only $5 bucks a day. This site is genius! Thanks RideAmigos!!!" Name: Dan Miner,    Company: Sierra Club NYC,   Title: Chair"As gasoline prices continue to rise, we need to move toward mass transit, rail, and electric-powered vehicles, and increase efficiency standards of gasoline-powered vehicles. While this transition is underway, we should support all means to increase efficient use of today's technology, and ride sharing is a great way to do it. Sierra Club NYC's report, "Sustainable Energy Independence for NYC," spells out why this transition is inevitable, and why it should be accelerated at maximum speed. Read it at www.beyondoilnyc.org . Use ride sharing services to slow global warming and reduce America's dependence on imported oil." To post your own testimonial, email us at feedback@rideamigos.com or submit your testimonial here
